    In 2006, after one meeting with StreamTheWorld founders, he offered his services to structure and finance the business. Nine months later, the company’s board and new investors recruited him to lead the organization and execute its vision. Fast forward one year: StreamTheWorld has reached new heights and has a client list that includes the likes of CBS, Tribune, Journal Broadcast, Astral Media, Salambo, Corus, Multimedios and many other prestigious corporations from over 20 countries.

    In 1996 Yves Eric Laliberté founded Cesart, an interactive agency which he led to great success despite the dot-com freefall. Cesart benefited from its leader’s energy and delivered steady—and profitable—growth that led to the acquisition in 2001 by Bell Canada, the country’s largest telecom group.

    In business ventures as well as outside activities, Mr. Laliberté is recognized for his profound technological knowledge. In 1997 he cofounded Cescom, an early entry in the IP telephony field. As president and CEO, he was instrumental in attracting both private and institutional investors. Playing a dual role as CEO/CFO, he negotiated $30 million in financing. In 1999 Quebecor awarded him the first Pierre-Péladeau Bursary for his involvement in Cescom.

    A tireless achiever driven by a keen sense of direction and desire for tangible results, Mr. Laliberté has spearheaded numerous Internet projects, including technological prospecting missions in more than a dozen countries on three continents. In 1996, supported by the Cesart team, he was involved in setting up one of the world’s first high-speed Internet services for Canadian cable distributor Cogeco. His company then repeated the feat in Portugal, becoming the first to offer this service through Cabovisão, the country's largest private cable operator.

    Mr. Laliberté holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a diploma from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. He has received various prizes and awards and is known not only as a visionary with the ability to bring ideas to fruition, but for his involvement with the academic world. In 1998 he received two prestigious Radisson Awards for Young Entrepreneur of the Year and New Company of the Year.

    Kevin Shea has over 30 years’ experience in the Canadian entertainment, broadcasting, cable, telecommunications and culture industries. Shea is owner and President of SheaChez Inc., a consulting firm whose clients include the CBC, Telus Communications and Standard Broadcasting.

    The former President and CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as YTV Canada, Shea led both companies through the CRTC licensing and start-up processes. He also served as President and COO of the Global Television Network, Executive Vice-President at Bell Globemedia Inc. and as President and CEO of Atlantis Communications Inc.

    Shea’s other accomplishments include chairing the Toronto Tourism Recovery Alliance in the aftermath of SARS, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters TV Board, and the Canadian Film Centre. Shea holds several directorships, including one with Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc., of Arthur, Caillou and Doodlebops fame.

    Prior to 1993, Mr. Shea occupied senior management positions for a diverse group of broadcast and entertainment entities, including YTV Canada Inc., Rogers Cablesystems Inc. and the Cable Satellite Network Inc. Mr. Shea serves on the Telus Television Advisory Board and the Marketing Board of the National Capital Commission.

    Born in Montreal and raised in Toronto and Los Angeles, Mr. Shea graduated from the University of Western Ontario (1984) and York University (1975). His commitment to Canadian broadcasting is evident from his involvement in a number of industry associations including the Canadian Film Centre (Chairman), Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, Canadian Women in Communications (named 2004 Mentor of the Year), Canadian Cable Television Association, Canadian Film and Television Production Association, Banff International Television Festival, Life Network, Prime TV Network, CN Tower Limited, Children's Broadcast Institute and the Canadian Children's Foundation

    Under his guidance as President, DTI has become a world leader in the In-Flight Entertainment industry, serving over 105 international airline customers and was successfully sold to a publicly traded German group in January 2008. In 2007, h2I was ranked in The Deloitte Technology Fast 50TM recognizing the 50 fastest growing tech companies with the highest percentage revenue growth over five years. Nicolas still serves as president and board member of DTI Software.

    Since 1998, Nicolas Belanger along with his business partner Louis Bélanger-Martin, co-founded and manage Group W Inc (W), a privately held growth and buyout investment fund. Nicolas, through W, is a partner and board member of Luxtec Lighting Group Inc, an international lighting company; iBwave Solutions, Inc., an international in-building wireless software company; Streamtheworld Inc., a global media streaming technology company; Audiokinetic, a Canadian company that revolutionizes traditional audio development processes for gaming and other interactive media; Graph Synergy Inc., a high-end software development company for the AEC industry; Mediacity Inc., Canada's largest office tower advertising network and, FIER Soutien-Relève in the south-shore.

    Nicolas and his business partner were the recipient of the prestigious recognition Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2007.

    Nicolas currently resides with his wife and two children in Saint-Lambert, South of Montreal.

    Marco Dodier is President of Gesca Digital Investments, a division devoted to gathering investment and incubation projects in the field of new media.

    Under Mr Dodier's leadership, the company's development strategy aims to improve its competitive position through the consolidation of its presence in Canada's digital space.

    Marco Dodier's mandate is to locate, examine and negotiate new businesses opportunities related to the new media industry. He also oversees the development of new projects within this division, and accompanies them as they grow and prosper.

    Before joining Gesca Digital Investments, Marco Dodier co-founded a number of companies in the Internet field. Among these ventures is Cesart, a web-design and strategy firm with over 100 employees, purchased by Bell Canada in 2005. At Cesart, he played a pivotal role as strategic planner, decision-maker and negotiator. He also co-founded Cescom, a company specializing in IP communications and Cesart International, offering integration services to cable distributors for high-speed Internet access.

    An engineering graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and recognized as a "marketing engineer", Mr Dodier is also known for his innovative thinking. He was a recipient of the highest distinction at the provincial level, the Krashinsky Award, a show of recognition from the province's top technology specialists.

    David Bernardi, Director

    David Bernardi is a venture partner at Propulsion Ventures, a managing partner in ID Capital (a sister, early-stage fund), as well as the Head of Technology for Telesystem.  He has more than twenty years of experience in telecommunications and software engineering, more than half of which he has gained in an operational environment.

    Over the course of his career, Mr. Bernardi has managed large software development teams in a multi site, multi-schedule environment. He was one of the first North Americans to have a development team in India (1994). In terms of hardware development, he provided technical governance for the only non military data satellite constellation in the world. As a consultant to Canadian and American telephone companies, he analyzed and planned the reengineering of his clients’ processes to improve their competitiveness and efficiency.

    David Bernardi's experience also includes product and strategic planning, negotiating complex, billion-dollar joint venture agreements in an international environment, helping build engineering and operations organizations from the ground up, and providing technical and commercial guidance to various projects and start-ups.

    Mr. Bernardi holds Master's and Bachelor's (Honours) degrees in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Diploma in Arts (History) from Université de Montréal. He is or has been a board member or advisor to the following companies: Audiokinetics, Colubris Networks, CVT Corp, Fox Group, Idilia, Metafoam, Microsigns, NCI Technologies, Rololight, and StreamTheWorld.

    Prior to joining Oaktree in 2004, Mr. Quick spent two years as an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, gaining experience in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings and debt financing.

    Mr. Quick's previous experience includes internships at Johnson Controls as well as Paine Webber. He holds a B.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan, graduating magna cum laude and majoring in Finance and Accounting.

    Holder of a Business Administration degree from Montreal's prestigious HEC, Mr. Robichaud is one of the city's better known multimedia entrepreneurs, with over 10 years' experience in Web strategy and business startups.

    Formerly the New Media Director for the Corus Entertainment media concern, he left that position to launch www.radioactif.com, a Web portal and Internet service provider that competes with the likes of Videotron and Bell. Radioactif is currently deploying the first-ever Wimax Wifi network in Montreal.

    Until its sale in January 2007, Mr. Robichaud founded and presided over Génération Flash, a pioneering Web creative firm. Previously, he also founded Myvirtualpaper.com, an online publishing system used to convert printed documents, booklets and pamphlets into Web format, currently used by such customers as Bell, Archambault, Tourisme Quebec, Johnson & Johnson and many others.

    In addition to these ventures, Mr. Robichaud is the founder of Telnip.com, an online, credit card free, payment solution. He is CEO of Mobilito.ca, a company developing marketing applications for cellular phones. He was also owner of the technological magazine Quebec Micro, acquired from Trader Corporation more than 2 years ago and resold in May 2007.

    Previously, Mr. Schore served as Managing Partner and CEO of Midway Marketing Group (MMG), a media advisory firm that engages with the private equity community to build, expand, finance and manage media operations throughout the United States. While operating MMG, he successfully completed significant transactions in the media sector while also contributing to client growth initiatives, including M&A guidance, executive management, corporate organizational evaluation and business development, among other functions.

    Mr. Schore's other endeavors include founding and serving as President for Brite Media Group, an innovative San Francisco-based company producing and distributing coffee sleeve advertising throughout the United States. He was also involved in the creation and operation of Nusign Outdoor Media: as President, he was instrumental in the implementation of Ad Bumpers, a unique advertising platform launched in 2001. Previously, he was employed for 9 years at Interep, the largest full service radio marketing company in the United States, where he distinguished himself as a results oriented leader in a number of executive positions.

    Mr. Schore received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with emphasis on Management, Marketing and Finance, from The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. In addition, he completed a one-year Bell Leadership course for senior executives at the University of North Carolina. Schore currently resides with his wife and three sons near Los Angeles, California.
