Account Director

We are presently looking for an Account Director to fill a permanent position within our Canadian sales team.

Job Description

Based in Toronto, the chosen candidate will report to the VP North America and will be primarily responsible for maintaining and expanding our market leading position within the Canadian market. Main accountabilities will include but will not be limited to the following tasks:

Identify and secure new clients for our live audio, live video and video on demand products;
Maximize sales and renegotiate contracts for our existing clients;
Collaborate with our Solutions Specialist to define and propose solutions that will allow for StreamTheWorld's current product offerings to evolve and be deployed onto new platforms
Meet quarterly and annual objectives in terms of revenue and client satisfaction;
Participate in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) program
Maintain an excellent and thorough knowledge of our products and services as well as competitors.
Required skills, knowledge and competencies
University diploma in business administration or equivalent;
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales;
Strong negotiation and presentation skills;
Team oriented but able to work independently;
Excellent organizational skills;
Willingness to travel;
Experience with CRM Salesforce applications;
Experience in working with CDN's, video solution providers or digital media departments involved in broadcasting or radio are viewed as a plus.
