• Job Description

  StreamTheWorld is presently looking for a Senior Java Developer to staff a permanent position in our development team. 

   

  The chosen candidate will be responsible for the object-oriented analysis, concept and development of different functionalities linked to our live streaming of video and audio content.

• Main responsibilities

  Implement the system architecture that the Project Architect produces for a given project; 

  Elaborate detailed and specific functions for different components;

  Test (at the development phase) and correct detected abnormalities (at the QA phase);

  Give the necessary support to the operations team and document instructions in order to insure a smooth transition at the production phase;

  Prepare and review code when needed in order to validate the implementation phase and the code quality.

• Skills

  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent experience;

  7 years of experience in software development (JAVA);

  Excellent knowledge of JAVA and J2EE framework; 

  Good knowledge of SQL and MySQL;

  Initiative and resourcefulness;

  UI and Event driven programming;

  Good knowledge of GWT.
